The short agreement.
Adler is an HRT tracker for iPhone, made by one person. Using the app means you accept these terms and Apple’s standard licence for App Store apps.

Not medical advice
Adler is a record you keep. It reminds you, writes down what you tell it and shows it back. It does not diagnose anything, recommend a treatment or dose, or tell you what your numbers mean. Always talk to your doctor before starting, stopping or changing any treatment. If you feel unwell, contact your doctor or emergency services, not an app.
The licence
Adler is licensed, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement: personal use on devices you own, no reverse engineering, no resale. These terms add the parts specific to Adler.
Price and trial
Adler is a paid app. It is sold as:
- a yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial, that renews each year
- a monthly subscription, with no trial, that renews each month
- a one-time purchase that never renews
Prices are shown in the App Store in your currency before you buy. A trial turns into a paid yearly subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. With notifications on, Adler reminds you two days before the trial ends. Subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID and renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policy.
Reminders
Reminders depend on iOS delivering local notifications, which Focus modes, Low Power Mode and other settings can delay or silence. Don’t rely on Adler as your only reminder for a medicine.
Your data
What you log belongs to you and stays on your phone, as the privacy page describes. Keep your own backups: if the phone is lost or the app deleted, there is no copy anywhere else to restore.
No warranty, limited liability
Adler is provided as is. I work to keep it correct and available, but cannot promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including missed reminders or lost data. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use Adler after that means you accept the change.
